Anthony A. Hudacky, went home to his Savior, Christ Jesus on Wednesday, March 13, 2024.
He was the eldest son of Andrew and Effie Hudacky.
Anthony was a member of The Federated Church in East Springfield, PA and graduated from Northwestern High School in 1961.
Tony had one of the most wonderful families you can ever imagine – an older sister Barbara and a niece Tammy, a younger brother Larry who is a gifted musician, and a younger sister Kathy.
Tony also had four fantastic daughters – Monica, Sheryl, Christina and Antoinette. He also had many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Tony also had his good friend Carol Ruland and his very special brothers and sisters in Christ at the Federated Church. He truly was and still is blessed beyond measure.
Once Tony was asked as to what he had done since graduating that was the most exciting and the most fulfilling for him personally. The only way in Tony’s mind that he could truthfully answer that question was that in the winter of 1990-1991 he accepted Jesus Christ in a right way as his Lord and Savior, and he did so for the most part because of a prayer that Dr. P.H. Augustine had prayed 37 years prior to Tony finally making the decision to be born again. You see, nothing ever added up or made any sense to Tony until his eyes were opened when he accepted Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior on Route 11 in Ohio on that cold winter day.
And since that moment his life changed with great joy and sincere love and purpose and direction that one can only get through a real relationship with Jesus Christ!
Tony would have told you that if you haven’t asked Christ Jesus to forgive your sins and to make you His child to not put if off; do it as soon as possible because you just don’t know when your time will come. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
“For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever – Amen.” Matthew 6:13. Arrangements are being handled by the Jean Evans Thompson Funeral Home, East Springfield, PA. www.jeanevansthompsonfh.com.
A memorial gathering and service will be held In Memory of Tony at the Federated Church in East Springfield on April 4, 2024 from Noon until the time of the service at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Tony has requested that everyone try to live as Jesus did. Donations may be sent to anyone in need.
