Barbara L. Keith

Barb L. Keith, age 86 of East Springfield, Pa., went  home to be with her Lord and her husband, Willie on Sunday evening, July 30, 2023 at her home.

Barb was born in Conneautville, Pa., on October 17, 1936, the daughter of the late Charles M. and Louise C. (Knapp) Dana.  She graduated from Conneaut Valley High School in the Class of 1955 and worked for the Great Lake Growers in Lake City, Pa.  She also worked at the Gunnison Brothers Tannery in Girard for many years and babysat for many people.  She married William (Willie) Keith on October 18, 1958 and together they had a daughter, Lucille.

Barb was active in the Albion Nazarene Church and she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and genealogy.

Besides her parents, Barb is preceded in death by her husband, Bill on June 16, 2008 and her brother, Gale Dana, Jr.

Barb is survived by her daughter, Lucille B. Bell of Erie and a Granddaughter, Sabrina Bell and two Grandsons, Brian and Mark Sullivan.  Also five Great-Grandchildren; Layla and Logan Scott, and Zoey Sullivan, Brett Griffin and Ilvy Mae Bell.

Friends are invited to call at the Jean Evans Thompson Funeral Home, 11883 Main Street, East Springfield, PA on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. with Rev. Wayne Hennen, Retired Pastor of the Church of the Nazarene, officiating.  Barb will be laid to rest with her husband, Bill in Springfield Cemetery.
