Beverly J. Krebs, age 79 of East Springfield, Pa., passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023 while visiting family in South Carolina.

Bev was born in Lucerne Mines Pa., the daughter of the late Wayne and Virginia Barris.  She enjoyed traveling, music, reading, crafts, but most of all, she enjoyed making her prize-winning punch rugs.

Besides her parents, Bev was preceded in death by her grandson, Joshua R. Krebs, and brother, Bill Barris.

Bev is survived by her loving husband of over 61 years, Ronald Krebs; Children, Cindy (Chuck) Korth of New Delhi, India; Wayne (Robin) Krebs of Camden, S.C.; Sherrie McCullough of Kingston, Ontario, Canada; and Joe (Carra) Krebs of Union City, Pa.; and 7 grandchildren, Justin Korth of North Las Vegas, Nv; Alyssa (Quinn) Wenger of California,  Md; Taylor McCullough of Kingston, Ontario, Canada;  Kaity (Dakota) Mical of Pittsburgh,  Pa; Lyndsay Krebs of California, Md; Megan McCullough of Kingston, Ontario, Canada; and Michael Krebs of Union City, Pa.

She is so much more to those of us that love her and those that met her than what you are reading here. You most likely saw her with one of her hats on and always made you smile.

We are looking forward to all family and friends sharing stories at an informal gathering to celebrate Beverly’s life being held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Jean Evans Thompson Funeral Home, 11883 Main Street, East Springfield, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice for “Human or Pets.”
