Cordelia Aeris Rankins-Stichick

Cordelia Aeris Rankins-Stichick, just under four months old was carried to Heaven on the Wings of Angels on Thursday, February 19, 2015.

Cordelia was born on October 24, 2014 at St. Vincent Health Center, the daughter of D.A. Stichick and Carlee D. Rankins.  Even though her time here on earth with her parents, sisters and brothers was short, she had a smile that radiated like the sun and eyes that sparkled like diamonds on the white glistening snow.

Cordelia is preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents, Sarah and Franklin Trask and her Paternal Grandmother, Teena Stichick and Great-Grandmother, Geraldine Stichick.

Besides her parents, she will be sadly missed by two sisters:  Rayna Salhoff of Erie and Marielle Rankins at home; and three brothers:  Dekotta Salhoff of Erie and Loki Rankins and D.A. “Sonny” Stichick at home.  She is also survived by Maternal Grandparents :  Bruce and Deborah Harps of Erie and Michael Horton of American Canyon, California and Louise Salhoff of Erie.  Also, a Great-Grandpa, Don Stichick of East Springfield, Pa.  She will be sadly missed by many Aunts:  Jennifer DeHaan of Longmont, CO; Amanda Horton of Erie; Catherine Rankins of Erie; Stephanie and Rebecca Harps of Erie and an Uncle:  Peter Clark of Erie and several cousins and friends.

A Time of Gathering and Remembrance of Cordelia will be held at the Jean Evans Thompson Funeral Home at 11883 Main Street, East Springfield, Pa on Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 3 to 9 p.m.  with a Celebration of Life Service at 6 p.m. with Pastor Net Gerber from the West Springfield United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made to the family  in care of the  Jean Evans Thompson Funeral Home.
