Curtis “Randy” Randolf Sayles, Jr.
Curtis Sayles, Jr., age 70 of West Springfield, took the hand of God home on Monday, January 10, 2022 at St. Vincent Health Center, Erie, Pa.
Curtis was born in Ivanhoe, Virginia on September 16, 1951, the son of the late Elder Curtis R. and Eunice (Absher) Sayles, Sr.
He graduated from Academy High School in Erie and retired from National Fuel after 32 years of service in 2011. He also served in the U.S. Marines as a Corporal and the National Guards for a total of 8 years protecting our country.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Sayles, four brothers; Donald, Elder Ronald, Timothy, and Terry Sayles.
Randy is survived by his wife, Linda Sayles and a daughter, Randilynn and her husband, Chris Strangfeld of Waretown, NJ; one granddaughter, Olivia; five sisters: Minister Constance (Wayne) Burnett of Erie, Pa., Tina (Renauld) Bell of Conneaut, OH, Sandra Naylor of Edinboro, PA, Cynthia Emmanuel of Bentleyville, PA, and Cheryl (Donald) Bonner of Erie, Pa.; and three brothers: Richard (Sherry) Sayles of Ashtabula, OH, Mark Sayles of Conneaut, OH, and William Sayles of Erie, Pa.
Family and Friends are invited to call at the Federated Church, East Springfield, Pa on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 12 until the time of the service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Rick Pluknett, officiating. (Mask Mandates are in force.) Randy will be laid to rest in Springfield Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made In Memory of Randy to the funeral home.
