Deloris “Punky” A. Crowl, age 65 of Girard, PA, went home on Angels’ wings Monday night, July 18, 2016 at St. Vincent Health Center, Erie, Pa.
Punky was born on September 9, 1950, the daughter of Dorothy J. (Eyster) Crowl and the late Richard G. Crowl. When she was younger, she attended the Gertrude Barber Center in Erie where she also learned to work and then she worked at the Girard Tannery for many years.
She was a member of the New Beginnings Church in Fairview and really enjoyed bowling and camping with her family. She also liked it when people came to visit her.
Besides her dad, she is preceded in death by a brother, Bill Crowl and a sister-in-law, Diane Crowl.
Punky is survived by her mother, Dorothy and two brothers, Lewis Crowl (Kathy) and Jim Crowl (Becky) both of Conneaut, Ohio. Many Nieces and Nephews are also left behind.
Family and friends are invited to call at The New Beginnings Full Gospel Church, 7195 W. Ridge Road, Fairview, Pa. on Friday, July 22, 2016 from 1 until the time of the Life Celebration Service at 4 p.m. with Pastors Stephen Crowl and Paul Friend, officiating. Burial will be in Springfield Cemetery.
Memorial Donations may be made to the New Beginnings Church, 7195 W. Ridge Road, Fairview, PA 16415. Arrangements are being handled with care by the Jean Evans Thompson Funeral Home, East Springfield, Pa.
