Georgia May Schultz, age 84 was welcomed by the hand of God on Sunday night, March 12, 2017 at the Western Reserve Healthcare Center in Erie where she had been recently residing.
Georgia May was born in Warren, Pa on September 27, 1932, the daughter to the late Robert and Adeline (Martin) Lott. She graduated from the Fairview High School, met the man of her dreams, Melvin, whom they have been married 65 years. She retired from the Morris Coupling and Clamp Co. and was an avid member of the Asbury United Methodist Church. In her younger years, she enjoyed hunting with her husband, making stained glass windows and decorations, camping and traveling the United States with her husband.
Besides her husband, Georgia is survived by a daughter, Sandra Flanagan-Geisler and her husband, Gary of Erie and two sons: Michael (Cindy) Schultz of Waterford, Pa.; Larry (Nadine) Schultz of Erie, Pa. She also is survived by a sister, Barbara Madison of Oregon and six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
There will be no services as per Georgia’s request. She will be laid to rest in Erie County Memorial Gardens and Memorial Donations in her Memory may be made to the Asbury United Methodist Church or to the Regional Hospice. Her arrangements are being handled by the Jean Evans Thompson Funeral Home, East Springfield, Pa.
