Homer R. Clough
Homer R. Clough, age 68, of West Springfield, Pa. died peacefully at his home on Monday afternoon, March 24, 2014.
Homer was born in Painesville, Ohio on October 14, 1945, the son of the late Homer L. and Ethel M. (Hodgerney) Clough. He retired after many years at EMSCO in Girard and previously he owned and operated Clough Sanitation from 1977 through 1990. He was a member of the Bethel Assembly of God Church and in his spare time, enjoyed woodworking and motorcycle riding.
Besides his parents, Homer is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Cheryl Renee Clough and a Sister, Patty Dodge and one great-grandson, C.J.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra L. (Filby) whom he married on September 26, 1994. He is also survived by two daughters and three sons: Tammy D. Di Pasquale and her husband, Tony of Cranberry Twp., Pa.; Heidi Clough of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; Roger R. Clough and his wife, Heather of Edinboro, Pa.; and Mark A. Clough and his wife, Jennaleigh of Maysville, NC; and Richard G. Bender of Arlington, AL. Homer is also survived by a sister, Mary Howland of East Springfield, Pa., and a brother, Dale Clough of West Springfield, Pa. Surviving are also, eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
There will be no calling hours or services as per Mr. Clough’s wishes. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908. Arrangements are being handled by the Jean Evans Thompson Funeral Home, East Springfield, Pa.
