Julie Anne Seggi

Julie Anne Seggi, age 49 of Girard, Pa., was carried home by Angels on Saturday, July 4, 2015  at her home.

Julie was born on March 3, 1966, the daughter of  Guy M. and Grace M. (Pizzi) Seggi.

Julie graduated from Mercyhurst Prep School in 1984.  She worked for SIMA (Snow and Ice Management Asoc.) where she worked there as an event planner until they left Erie and moved the company to Millwaukee.  Julie attended the Fairview Presbyterian Church and enjoyed working flowers in the garden along with creating wonderful ceramic items.  She also enjoyed cooking and she could cook everything.  She especially loved playing with her grandchildren.

Julie was preceded in death by her Grandparents:  Mary and Sam Seggi, and Jennie and Peter Pizzi.

Besides her parents, she is survived by her significant other, Chris Lucente of Girard; and two daughters:  Kelsie A. Thompson and her husband, Mark of Ft. Bragg, NC and Kailee M. Traut (Cannon Henderson) of Erie, Pa., and a brother, Gary M. Seggi  (Brenda Rensel) of Erie, Pa. and several aunts and uncles.  Julie is also survived by three wonderful grandchildren:  Jordan and Emma Thompson and Carter Henderson.

Friends are invited to call at the Jean Evans Thompson Funeral Home, 11883 Main Street, East Springfield, Pa. on Friday, July 10, 2015 from 2 to 5 p.m. and attend a Life Celebration Service at the funeral home at 7 p.m.  The family respectively requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to the Jean Evans Thompson Funeral Home, P.O.
