Linda S. Bowersox

Linda S. Bowersox, age 67 of Girard, PA went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday afternoon, June 15, 2016 at Pleasant Ridge Manor where she had been recently staying.

 Linda was born on November 5, 1948, in Erie, Pa., the daughter of the late Foster R. and Gertrude H. (Egley) Bowersox.

Linda loved the Lord and after high school she went on to study at the Philadelphia College of Bible and then earned her Master’s Degree in Education from Edinboro State College.  She taught for many years at the Cranesville Christian Academy.

 When Linda wasn’t teaching, she was reading, writing, working on needle point and spending time with her family.

 Linda is survived by a sister; Wendy Loepp (Gene) of Waco, TX; and three brothers; Terry Bowersox (Patty) of Cranesville, Pa., Tim Bowersox, and William Bowersox (Mary) of Florida.

She is also survived by two nieces; Joanna Loepp and Bethany Bowersox and a nephew; Jackson Loepp.

 A Life Celebration Memorial Service will be held in Memory of Linda on Saturday morning, June 18, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Cranesville Bible Church with Pastor David Bousquet, officiating.  Linda will be laid to rest next to her mother in Springfield Cemetery.
