Linda L. Williams, age 82 of West Springfield, Pa., died peacefully at UPMC Hamot, Erie, Pa. on Monday, June 26, 2023.

Linda was born in Erie Pa., on June 11, 1941 the daughter of the late Vincent and Marjorie (Baer) Kireta.  After high school, Linda served in the U.S. Air Force where she worked at the  Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama in the Maternity Ward.  In her younger years, Linda worked at the Northwestern Fur Exchange and the Powell IGA Grocery Store in Albion, Pa.  When she wasn’t working, she was raising her children and sewing, gardening, and crafting. 

On October 8, 1966, Linda married her husband, Donald “Don” Williams.  Together they celebrated 56 years of marriage.  Besides her husband, Linda is survived by five children:  David (Soffia) Pitts, Dolin (Sylvia) Williams, Dawn (Patrick) Camp, Melissa (Craig) Daniels, and Robyn Williams.  She is also survived by three sisters and a brother:  Mary Ann Bradfield (Sam Palmer), Sue (Ronald) Scalise, Cathy Shearer, and Charles Kireta.  She is further survived by 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

There will be no services per the family’s request.  Arrangements are made by The Jean Evans Thompson Funeral Home in East Springfield, Pa.  Memorial donations may be made In Memory of Linda to the Orphan Angels, 5439 W Lake Rd, Erie, PA 16505 or to the Ashtabula Animal Protection League, 5970 Green Rd, Ashtabula, OH 44004.
