Marcia R. Richardson

Marcia R. Richardson, age 71, was led home by the hand of Angels into Heaven early Tuesday morning, December 31, 2019 at Pleasant Ridge Manor where she had been residing.

Marcia was born in Erie, Pa on January 25, 1948, the twin daughter to Fred Richardson and Virginia (Merritt) Richardson Ebert.

Marcia was a gift from God and was a special light in the family's life. Not just because she was one of a twin, but because she saw things from a child's perspective and kept that spark alive until the day the Angels took her home. She enjoyed working and trying various things. She liked to go swimming, bowling, and watching movies. She also worked for several years at the Gertrude Barber Center sorting parts through their employment program. She attended the Wellsburg Methodist Church with her family.

Marcia is survived by her twin sister, Marlene K. Thomas who lives in Georgia; an Uncle, Donald Hough and Aunt Delores Merritt both of Albion and a Step-Sister, Judy Ebert of Springboro. There are several cousins that survive.

Family met Friday morning, January 3, 2020 from 10 am until the time of the services at the Jean Evans Thompson Funeral Home with Pastor Mel Bendig of the Bethel Presbyterian Church officiating. Marcia was laid to rest beside her mother, Virginia, in Hope Cemetery, Wellsburg, PA.
