Matthew Storm Robson
Matthew Robson, age 10 of Springboro, died on April 1, 2022 as the result of a tragic house fire along with his brother, William and his sister, Destiny and his grandma, Hilda.
Matthew was born in Meadville, Pa on February 16, 2012 the son of John and Rose (Quick) Robson. Matthew was the “Electronics King”. He enjoyed playing X-Box and watching TV and performing in children’s pageants, and riding go-karts. Matthew was a student in Mrs. Martin’s 4th Grade Class at the Conneaut Valley Elementary School. He embodied the Golden Rule, always treating others the way he wanted to be treated. He was a friend to everyone. Matthew wasn’t the fastest, most outgoing, or loudest voices in a room. Somehow, he was still one of the first people you would notice because of his calm and gentle presence. All of Matthew’s teachers and classmates admired him for being so positive. He was hard-working and took pride in anything he attempted. He appreciated the simple things and never asked for more. Knowing that he made someone else happy put a big smile on his face. He will never be forgotten by his family and friends, school community, and Springboro residents. Because someone we love is in heaven, there is a little bit of heaven in the hearts of everyone who knew Matthew.
Matthew is survived by his parents; two brothers, Johnny Robson (Diane Leonhart) and Joshua Robson (Heather Reynolds); and three sisters, Eliza Perry (Jason Clark), Ada Robson, and Miraclejoy Grace Robson; his grandfather, Gary S. Eberhart; Uncle, Larry D. Ball; and a niece, Zaylie Clark.
Friends and family are invited to gather at the Conneautville Church of Christ at 1308 Main Street, Conneautville, PA on April 21, 2022 at 5 p.m. followed by a Life Celebration Memorial Service at 6 p.m. officiated by Pastor Rich Jones.
The arrangements are being handled with love and care by the Jean Evans Thompson Funeral Home, East Springfield, PA. Memorial Donations In Memory of Matthew or the Robson family may be made to the family through the funeral home website or by sending a check to the funeral home.
