Phyliss Mildred (Dana)Case
Phyliss M. Case, 81 of East Springfield looked full on the wonderful face of Jesus on December 12, 2020. She was a resident of Pleasant Ridge Manor for the last few years. Phyliss died of complications related to COVID-19.
She was born in Albion, Pa to the late Allen and Thora Dana and she was preceded in death by her brother, Cloyed Dana and sister, Caroline Shady as well as her beloved husband, Melvin Case.
She is survived by her children, a son, Eugene Case of West Springfield; two daughters, Jennefer (Jim) Cornwell of Erie and Julye (Doug) Bush of Chenango Forks, NY. She is also survived by a brother-in-law, Andrew Shady and sister-in-law, Jeannette Dana and her loving grandchildren, Alex and Madelyne Bush and Benjamin and Olivia Cornwell.
The family would like to extend a special expression of great appreciation to the nurses and staff of Pleasant Ridge Manor Unit G for their thoughtful, kind and compassionate care of Phyliss.
Due to CDC restrictions, a private service will be held by the family in Life Remembrance of Phyliss on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 4 p.m., officiated by Pastor Tom Hoeke of the Summit United Methodist Church and will be live-streamed on FaceBook.
