Robert J. Hull

Robert K. Hull, age 82 of East Springfield, Pa. passed away Friday morning, Dec. 4, 2020 at the Fairview Manor where he was recently residing.

Robert was born in Waterford, PA on July 14, 1938, the son of the late John and Mary Johanna (Butcher) Hull.  He joined the Marine Corp and when he returned he found employment as a machinist at Copes Vulcan Co. in Girard where he retired from after 30 years.  He was a member of the Waterford Methodist Church and was a member of the Grand Lodge International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Lodge #938.  He enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, motorcycling, and giving the grandchildren rides on the big tractor.

Besides his parents, Robert is preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

Robert is survived by his wife, Joann (Platt) Hull whom he married on October 10, 1956 and three daughters; Cindy Hull (Tammy), Tammy Grant (Bob), and Roberta Bidwell (Dave).  There are also many nieces and nephews surviving and three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

There will be no calling hours or services.  Memorials may be made in Memory of Robert to the Erie Veteran’s Administration or to the LECOM VNA.
