Ruth Virginia (Tomlinson) Gollmer

Queen, Ruth Gollmer, age 94, of Albion, Pa, passed away quietly with her family surrounding her bedside on Friday, February, 11, 2022.

Ruth was born on February 5, 1928 in Erie, Pa, the daughter of the late Claude and Marion (Tozer) Tomlinson.

She was the founder of the Pont Community Church where many activities with the children and  weddings were performed.

She was known as Queen Ruth by her late husband, Eugene Gollmer who called her “Queen” and she called him, her “King.”  Besides her husband and her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by a son, Lawrence and James Gollmer and a daughter, Laura Gollmer.

Queen Ruth is survived by four children:  Lynda, Mike, Gary, and Beckie and nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

There will be no calling hours or services for Ruth at this time.  She will be laid to rest in Hope Cemetery next to Her King.
