Ruth N. Wagner

Ruth N. Wagner, age 80 of West Springfield, Pa. was carried home on Angels wings Sunday evening, February 17, 2019 from her home.

Ruth was born in Girard, Pa., on October 17, 1938, the daughter of the late Howard and Luella (Vorse) Shaffer.  She fell in love and married Bill Wagner and the two of them have been inseparable for over forty years while together they raised four beautiful children.  In her spare time, Ruth enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles, gardening, camping, and she really loved her dogs.

Besides her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Lear.

She is survived by her husband, Bill and two daughters:  Sherry Black (Corey Braden) of Waterford, and Lynn Hollis (Dennis) of Girard; and a son, Bill Wagner, Jr. (Jaime) of Erie.  A sister; Bobbie Lawrence of Lake City and four brothers:  Dave (Pat), Don (Carol), John, and Larry (Elaine) Shaffer all of Girard; and ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
