Teena M. Stichick, age 51 of East Springfield, Pa., died early Thursday morning, December 4, 2014 as a result of a severe house fire.
Teena was born in Conneaut, Ohio on November 15, 1963, the daughter of Harry D. (Don) Stichick and the late Geraldine D. (Helmik) Stichick.
Teena graduated from the Northwestern Class of 1982 and furthered her studies at the J.H. Thompson Hair Academy. She had also worked at Camp Fitch cleaning for several years. She was a member of the Federated Church and liked to play on the computer, listening to her favorite music, “Kiss” and “Alice Cooper”; but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her kids and her grandchildren.
Besides her father, Teena is survived by her son, D.A. Stichick and his girlfriend and closest friend, Carlee, and two close relatives: Joann Wisner of McSherrystown, Pa., and Bonnie Jean Rudisil of Littlestown, Pa. She is also survived by her two grandchildren: Sonny and Cordelia Stichick.
A Time of Remembrance will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and 1 until the time of the service at 3 p.m. on Monday, December 8, with Pastor Ed Huntley of the Federated Church, officiating at the Jean Evans Thompson Funeral Home, 11883 Main Street, East Springfield, Pa.
